An advertising campaign for Coca-Cola’s Glaceau Vitamin Water brand, which appears to encourage staff to take unwarranted sick days, has been criticised by the former head of the CBI, as well as small business groups.

The text of the advert reads: “If you’ve had to use sick days because you’ve actually been sick, then you’re seriously missing out….the trick is to stay perky and use sick days to just not go in.”
